Peggy Anne Cahill Sample

Peggy Anne Sample, 50, of Amarillo died Saturday, July 12, 2008.

Peggy was a devoted wife to Kevin, loving daughter to Colly and Steve, beloved cousin and an exceptional niece to her aunt and uncles.  She also was a dedicated teacher's aide to all her special needs children at Sleepy Hollow Elementary.

"Miss Peggy" was often seen skipping down the hall with one of the students as they sang or laughed.  Her students loved her and she loved them with an unequalled love.  Her love for her pets also was legendary to all those who knew her.

Her brave fight against cancer is over, but the disease was never able to take her spirit. The legacy of Peggy will live on in the hearts and minds of all who loved her.

Survivors include her husband, Kevin and a brother, Mark Cahill.
