Peter Scott Ford

ARCADIA, La. - Peter Scott Ford, 38, a former Amarillo resident, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1996.

Services were Saturday, Nov. 23, in First Baptist Church with burial in Hurrican Cemetery. Arrangements were by Rose-Need Funeral Home.

Mr. Ford was born in Amarillo and moved to Arcadia about 20 years ago (1977).  While living in Amarillo he attended St. Andrews, Crockett Junior High and graduated from Tascosa High School in 1976.

He was a real estate investor and an avid outdoorsman. He was president of the Arcadia Gun Club, past president of the Louisiana Trapshooting Association, a former member of the Arcadia Jaycees and Arcadia Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Ober Ford; a son, Peter Brent Ford of the home; a daughter, Mary Chasten Dance of the home; and his parents, "Pete" and Vernell Ford of Amarillo.
