Ned Tuttle

Edward (Ned) Bartlett Tuttle passed away on September 4, 2023 after a brief fight with lung cancer. Ned was born in New Haven, Connecticut to Winslow and Sybil Tuttle on September 12, 1958. He grew up in Connecticut until he was 10 years old when his family moved to Texas. He graduated high school in Amarillo and went on to study business in college. Ned met his wife and love of his life while working in Amarillo, and after moving to Houston, TX, they went on to establish and grow their own computer services company together.

Ned enjoyed spending time talking and joking around with his wife, three daughters, and 6 grandchildren. He loved fishing and bird hunting with his father and brother throughout Texas, in Argentina, and in Belize. Ned also loved to plan family vacations/reunions to get the whole extended family together annually, as he loved his entire family dearly. Ned was an avid reader and political researcher, and he loved taking his dogs on early morning walks at the park - he was known as "The Dog Man" to fellow park walkers and around the neighborhood. He would often get, "I know who you are, you're 'The Dog Man'."

Ned is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Kytrena Tuttle; his daughters, Kristin Tuttle, Jessica Duckett, and Tracy Tuttle; and his father, Winslow Tuttle; brother, Win Tuttle; and sister, Virginia Johnson.

Ned's family wishes to thank his many friends who gave such loving support during his life and illness. A service to celebrate Ned's life will be held on Saturday, September 9th.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an organization that he passionately supported during his life, Veterans and Patriots United, which serves as transitional housing and professional counseling for homeless veterans in Huntsville, Texas: www.veteranspatriotsunited.org
