Tonya Cantrell Hartsfield

Married since June 7, 1980. Ross and I started serving in Music Ministry in 1981. We presently serve at Great Hills Church in Austin, TX - since 1996.
Graduated UTPB in Psychology and Elementary Ed. in 1985. Taught children's choirs, including Preschool, over all these years plus Children's Choir Coordinator. Presently teaching 2nd grade choir at my church. Started my own business in 2004 and work from my home. School choirs, Church Choirs and Community Choirs are my customers for choral music needs - all over the U.S.
I have been a wedding coordinator for a short time.

I had horrible study habits in high school, due to lots of unrest in my home situation. I loved, absolutely loved choir and Mr. Frank Frisbee. This was my home.
Loved performing in the musical, "Annie Get Your Gun".
I hated being the only Junior in a Biology class!
Loved going to A & W for their Tuesday specials for lunch!
Loved being in the show choir, Freedom Singers, but did NOT like our uniforms, haha... seersucker skirts.
Loved my Senior year the best!
I appreciated my friends giving me rides to school and back home until I got a car.
My study habits did get better in college!
