Donna Marceron Murrah

I left Amarillo in 1978 to work for Southwest Airlines in Arlington, Texas, at the time where the Reservation Center was located. In 1980 they opened a center in San Antonio so I transferred there where really I lived for almost 20 years! I had a blast working for SWA, in fact I think I gave away a roundtrip pass at one of our reunions!
I married Toby in 1988 and in 1995 we transferred to Austin and I worked at the ticket counter right up until they closed the original Austin airport and moved to Bergstrom.....by that time we were both ready for an adventure...so...

We sold all of our belongings and moved onto a 36' sailboat. We lived in Kemah, Tx for about 2 years and then left for the cruising lifestyle in November of 1998.
From Texas to the Dry Tortugas, to Key West, Abacos, up the East Coast to Maine we explored, sailed, met hundreds of fabulous people and lived a great life. We eventually made Annapolis, Md our summer home and Georgetown, Exumas, Bahamas our winter home on the boat of course! After staying in Annapolis for a year due to stupid CANCER, we returned to the islands but soon after settled in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We came to Amarillo so I could help with my parents, both now deceased. I purchased The Yoga Mat in late 2013 and teach almost 30 classes a month.

With adventure in both of our souls, this may be my last reunion so I am thrilled to see everyone who attends! Peace, love, laugh........Namaste'

UUUHHGGGG, I really didn't like school. I played tennis, Mrs. Daia kicked me out of French class and I parked in the "Hippie" parking lot. I remember us getting sent home when minor riots started....never really understood that...guess I don't understand rioting now??? After graduating early, I worked at Gardsky's Loft until I applied for Southwest Airlines. I moved to Arlington in 1978 and returned to Amarillo in 2012!
